Production Technician
We are looking for an ambitious technician with hands-on mechanical and electrical skills who wants to grow within a rapidly-growing company. You will work in a production environment while interacting closely with electrical and mechanical engineers to assemble, test and debug. You will help develop and improve production processes for existing products as well as help develop new products in an R&D environment.
Responsibilities:
- Rework, test, and install PCA’s
- Production assembly for electronic components
- Perform final test on product
- Help define production processes and build cells
- Build test and debug fixtures
- Continuously improve product and provide feedback to the engineering team
Key skills required
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Electrical PCA troubleshooting
- PCA soldering and rework
- Production assembly
- Mechanically minded, hands on attitude
- Ability to own work product and drive to completion
Ideal background:
- Minimum AS degree with electronics focus or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in an R&D or production environment
- Test code development
- Experience creating work instructions & test plans
