As a Software Engineer on the HG Web Engineering team, you will collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to solve business challenges. As a member of the Warp Core squad, you will work on projects that attract and retain consumers through an engaging interface and strong brand impression including the Healthgrades.com homepage and provider directories.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, cross-functional squad dedicated to building and maintaining some of Healthgrades’ highest seen and valued projects. Apply today if you would like to give people the confidence they need to make the right healthcare decisions.
 
What you will do:

  • Connect dynamic web interfaces with Healthgrades’ rich backend data

  • Enhance and optimize our Node.js server platform for speed and scalability

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders in an agile development environment

  • Receive and provide mentorship and code reviews for team members

What you will bring:

  • Development experience with JavaScript, Node.js, HTTP, and server frameworks such as Express or Hapi.js

  • Experience with Git and unit testing

  • Ability to contribute to a culture of communication, collaboration, and creativity

  • Nice-to-have: Experience with AWS, Solr, Webpack, and/or React.js
