Skookum is seeking its a Mobile DevOps engineer! We are looking for someone with some combination of mobile app development and devops experience. You will be part developer, part infrastructure, and part educator. We do it all, and we need a person who can work alongside our development teams and solve hard problems. You should love native mobile platforms, scripting, automation, security, and making environments hum along like a well oiled machine. Docker and AWS experience are a definite plus and will put you on our shortlist.

About The Team

We generally operate with small teams working closely together on a wide variety of complex and interesting projects. Our teams develop native mobile applications for Android and iOS, as well as building apps with React Native. We strongly believe in using the best tool for the problem.

About You

You are willing and able to partake in and lead communication with project stakeholders. You should be able to explain technical constraints to both technical and non-technical audiences.

You will succeed in this role if you:

• Can configure Jenkins to build and deploy native apps
• Can also work as a native developer for either iOS or Android
• Are familiar with tools like Fastlane, and the app submission processes
• Are familiar with Unix shell scripting (Linux and MacOS)
• Have a very high standard of written English
• Work well with others
• Love the journey as much as the destination
• Enjoy working in and learning to use a wide variety of technologies and languages
