What you'll do:

  • As a Mobile Developer, you will work on a variety of features in our existing and upcoming mobile apps.
  • Work collaboratively with developers of all skill levels to solve problems.
  • Effectively communicate with team members of all roles regarding architectural decisions, progress on implementation of a user story, providing relevant knowledge and expertise. 

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years software development experience working in mobile development (React Native, or native iOS with Swift or Objective C, or Android). 
  • Past experience working either web application development, mobile application development, or both. 
  • Proficiency communicating (in English) verbally and in written form, both one on one and in a group setting. 
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Kanban or similar incremental, team-based methodology.

What will set you apart:

  • Proficiency in some front end development in JavaScript (particularly React and React Native
  • Experience with Expo.io
  • “Full stack conversant”: some past experience or comfort getting into the backend and creating or updating REST APIs, business logic or working with MySQL. 
  • Past experience working in an XP environment that includes practices such as Test Driven Development (TDD), paired programming, refactoring, and continuous integration 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
