NetApp is looking for a Software Engineering Test Manager to join our SolidFire team. SolidFire’s has rapidly growing enterprise-class data storage products currently in production with an all SSD solution, specifically designed for large-scale, public and private cloud deployments. SolidFire is delivering high availability, high performance, fault-tolerant software that runs concurrently on up to 100 nodes. We flawlessly pool resources and can maintain data integrity even when the network, rack, node, hardware, device, file system, kernel or other software components fail. Opportunities to Make an Impact:

We are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineering Test Manager to manage and lead a team of talented Software Engineers in Test (SET) and Quality Engineers (QE). This is a great opportunity to lead a high ­powered team delivering an industry­ changing product within an extremely high ­growth sector of the tech industry.

More specific responsibilities include:

·         Hiring and professional development of the team, with a focus on improving test efficiency and test effectiveness

·         Build and promote a work environment that is highly collaborative and team ­centric

·         Set performance expectations for individual employees and monitor their success in meeting these goals

·         Work very closely with program partners to represent team and create/deliver on release plans

·         Ensure that all team deliverables are understood and delivered with the highest of quality

·         Work collaboratively with development and other QE teams to improve the quality of SolidFire products

·         Operational excellence around test planning, design, automation, execution and reporting

·         Manage test automation effort of the team

·         Be a key contributor to bring to fruition the quality vision of the organization

Education

About You:

You have a strong aptitude for and experience in testing complex, enterprise level software products. Additional attributes for success include:

·         3+ years experience leading test teams of 10+ engineers in a high­ growth, fast ­paced SW engineering environment

·         Demonstrated understanding of the full software development life cycle with expertise in the quality life cycle

·         Experience or working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and SAFe

·         Prior experience with Software for enterprise storage, networking, virtualization or security products

·         B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field/ equivalent experience
