You’ll be working across the organization to ensure our customers’ assets are safe, and growing a high-performing team in a competitive market.

What You’ll Do

The Carbon Black Predictive Security Cloud product team is looking for a results-oriented Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for successfully delivering products to meet the business objectives of the product team. This will be achieved through leadership of one or more scrum teams, with close collaboration with partners in Product Management, our Architects, and our customer community.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience working pragmatically under deadlines with operational software is highly desired

• Project management experience with Agile methodologies

• Experience mentoring junior developers, and growing their careers

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operational health

• Experience collaborating with other technical teams, senior management, and customers

• Ability to refine requirements and instill quality practices in the development process

• Ability to attract top talent and incorporate them into a highly functional and fun team

• Experience operating in an AWS or other cloud environment, including an understanding of costs

• Ability to effectively determine and manage priorities independently

Bonus Points:

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or related degree

• Background and interest in Security

• Understanding in NoSQL and/or Search Indexing technologies

• Experience in CI/CD Environment
