VRI a Modivcare company, is looking for an experienced Manager - Quality Assurance Engineering. You will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's software development processes.
You will...

  • Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
  • Design, implement, test, and manage automated regression testing using a tool like Selenium.
  • Analyze deficiencies in service or performance and recommends product or service improvements to address problems.
  • Design and implement defect reduction programs.
  • Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
  • Communicate quality standards and parameters to the QA team, development team, and business analyst team.
  • Coordinate product testing processes.
  • Participate in product testing.
  • Work with the development team and business analysts to ensure all bugs are fixed before software is released to production.
  • Manage the Software Quality Assurance Team.
  • May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Occasional business travel may be required
  • Determine appropriate resourcing of staff in order to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Define annual Key Performance Indicators aligned with corporate goals.
  • Manage and mentor employees on performance gaps, career development opportunities, and strategies
  • Manage and coach employees on all human resource related processes including onboarding, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, selection, terminations, compensation and rewards.
  • Recognize others' contributions and share credit for success.
  • Own attainment of high employee satisfaction and retention; lead development of program and initiatives within group to attain high employee satisfaction.
  • Prepares and manages budget as assigned; analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions to maximize operational performance


We are excited to speak to someone with the following...

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Seven (7) plus years experience.
  • Three (3) plus years leadership responsibility, with 2+ years of experience in a Software Quality Assurance Manager role.
  • 5+ years of experience in a QA/Tester role.
  • 3+ years of experience using automated testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium.
  • Working knowledge of Application Program Interface (API), web service, mobile, and database testing.
  • Proven experience identifying, replicating, and communicating bugs to appropriate teams, and collaborating on a resolution plan.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the Agile Scrum Methodology.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.


Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 annually
