Overview:
The Analytics Products team is focused on bringing the power of data science and machine learning to a wider audience. We are looking for a machine learning engineer who has experience in delivering enterprise-grade software. Your work will impact tens of thousands Alteryx users. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable to dive into our code base, be able to track down bugs with ease and refactor code with suitable design patterns. A strong R background is preferred.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in software development.
• 2+ years of experience in R development, familiar with creating R packages and R debugging.
• 2+ years of experience in Python, experience with numpy, scipy, pandas and scikit-learn.
• Strong quantitative background with knowledge of data science, machine learning and statistics.
• A willingness to work in a pragmatic, agile environment with a collaborative team.
• Strong desire to learn and apply new skills­­­.

Valued Skills:

• Experience in data visualization with R, Python and JavaScript (D3, plotly).
• Strong in data structures, design patterns and performance analysis.
• Experience with database, familiar with SQL.
• Experience in data analytics, and using them to improve business intelligence and agility.
