Department Summary
Sling TV L.L.C., a subsidiary of DISH Network Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH), provides over-the-top television services including domestic and international live and Video-On-Demand programming. It is available on televisions, tablets, computers and smartphones. The Sling TV programming portfolio includes content from Disney, ESPN, HBO, AMC, Turner, Scripps, EPIX, Univision and Maker Studios. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

Design and develop a reliable, scalable and maintainable automation framework using open source tools from the ground up.
Provide technical guidance on the design, development and maintenance of new and existing automation frameworks
Contribute to the emergent architecture that identifies and solves challenges in implementing test automation solutions
Design and write software in a functional style combined with object-oriented techniques
Test the various systems manually to support Automation efforts
Work in an agile development environment
Mentor and train junior developers

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Minimum required skills / experience:
A successful Software Developer in Test will have the following:

BS Degree and 2+ years of Software Development experience or equivalent
At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Python, Java programming languages, specifically building applications or test automation frameworks.
At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in technical problem solving; root cause analysis; and data gathering, analysis, and reporting within a system/software quality assurance discipline.
At least 2 years of experience with some or all phases of testing: Functional, Regression, Integration and Performance Testing
At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in leading projects, designs, and development efforts in automated testing solutions.

Salary Range
Compensation: $65,800.00/Year - $108,100.00/Year
