We are looking for an experienced Marketing Communications Manager with a passion for developing content and copy that delivers results.  The ideal candidate is an experienced, top-flight writer and a seasoned project manager execution. This role serves as a core component in all marketing deliverables so advanced knowledge of traditional and digital marketing best practices is essential.

To be successful in this role, you should have the investigation skills of a journalist—be highly organized; an expert at time-management; skilled in multi-channel marketing campaign management; and have a strong desire to do things the right way (avoid short-cuts).

Responsibilities: 

1. Content Development/Copywriting

  • Content Development (product marketing copy, presentations, web copy, social media, case studies, white papers, etc)
  • Copywriting/Editing
  • Asset tracking
  • Landing Page Creation
  • Email Marketing
  • Social Media monitoring and publishing
  • Google Analytics
  • Website development/updating
  • Graphic design (or an eye for design)

2. Project/Campaign Management

  • Leads the orchestration of content marketing execution components
  • Tracks internal/external marketing requests and deadlines
  • Ensure all deliverables are on track, within scope/budget, and meeting quality standards
  • Assigns tasks and effectively communicates objectives
  • Collateral version control
  • Manages partners and vendors
  • Provides regular content status updates, reporting and analytics

3. Communications

  • Creates and manages monthly/quarterly communications (internal and customer facing)
  • Effectively communicates project deliverables and status to stakeholders

4. Champion for Improvement

  • Continuously analyze results, A/B test, and optimize campaigns in order to generate learnings and improve strategies
  • Suggests improvements to processes to optimize performance and value

The Ideal Skillset: 

1. Communication Skills

  • Superb writing skills; the ability to make content sing
  • The ability to tailor messaging for specific target audiences
  • The ability to research a given topic and interview internal & external subject matter experts and synthesize compelling content to achieve specific communications goals
  • Strong collaborative people skills
  • A self-starter attitude
  • An extensive portfolio of marcom samples 

2. Broad Overall Marketing Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of current marketing techniques and best practices and willingness to mentor junior team members
  • High Level of Proficiency in Content Marketing, Email Marketing, Marketing Automation, Social Media, Google Analytics etc
  • Strategy: You can click into the big picture
  • Execution: You have high standards for quality and speed 

3. Project/Campaign Management Experience

  • Excellent organization and project management skills (calendars, deadlines, vendor/agency management, budgets)
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple projects at once with a smile

4. Technical Experience

  • Marketing Automation (Hubspot or equivelent)
  • CRM (Salesforce or equivelent)
