We are seeking a Lead Architect for Channels who wants to be part of a modern, progressive Business Systems team to help Zoom’s larger commitment to providing happiness to both internal and external customers and partners. 

As a Lead Architect for Channel, you will drive the transformation of the Channel Deal Registration, Ordering and Quoting processes including CPQ, Partner Relationship Mgmt and Rebates. 

You will be responsible for partnering with the Channel Operations team, business analysts and engineering teams to streamline, simplify and automate end to end partner management, deal registration, quoting and ordering business processes with best of breed technology solutions, integrating with other business systems to achieve adoption of self service capabilities for our Channel Partners including Carriers, Distributors and Direct Resellers.

This is a highly visible and critical role, reporting to the Head of Enterprise Applications, offering the chance to be a change agent for the CPQ and Order to Cash transformation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Channel Sales, Channel Operations, Sales Ops and Finance to convert business requirements to solutions architecture and design and drive implementation

  • Partner with multiple technology teams (eCommerce, Salesforce, Zuora, Data Science and Engineering, in-house systems) to define technical requirements, Technical design, data integration flows and actionable tasks to deliver a scalable solution

  • Collaborate with BSAs, architects, developers, testers and other project team members to translate requirements, design and develop and deploy solutions

  • Coordinate the development, testing and post go-live activities to ensure a successful implementation of channel capabilities

  • Establish detailed technical tasks and deliverables and communicate status, risks and issues to both technology and business leadership

  • Lead system and user acceptance testing, negotiating with business stakeholders, triaging defects and obtaining stakeholder sign-off

  • Continue to provide technical leadership for ongoing enhancements 

Qualifications:

  • Engineering / CS / MIS Degree (Bachelor's ; graduate degree a plus) and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.

  • 8+ years of SaaS business applications experience including robust technical experience in CPQ, Order to Cash, Partner Portal and Partner Relationship Mgmt and related best of breed tools.

  • Deep business, functional and technical knowledge of Sales processes, PRM, CPQ and Order to Cash.

  • Highly positive and collaborative individual that excels at developing working relationships, building consensus, and fostering trust and collaboration at all levels.

  • Results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment.

  • Experience in presenting systems/IT concepts to senior business and IT stakeholders, ability to communicate with passion, and ability to articulate with business context. 

  • Experience working collaboratively with a wide range of functional departments and technology skill levels.
