Ibotta is looking for a Junior Web Developer to support the marketing team in developing world-class customer communications. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. What you’ll do:
Email Development:
- Translate design mockups and briefs into mobile responsive email communications using HTML and CSS.
- Work closely with Designers and Marketing Team to plan and implement email campaigns.
- Ensure a world-class experience by testing emails across multiple browsers, clients, and devices using the Litmus platform.
Web Development:
- Assist in building and maintaining website/landing pages in Wordpress.
- Develop page features and functionality across multiple websites.
- Work closely with Creative, SEO, copywriting and other marketing experts to fully optimize web pages for performance and effective communication.
- Conduct diagnostics and perform bug fixes.
What we’re looking for:
- 2 years minimum experience hand-coding HTML & CSS for responsive environments.
- Experience with Wordpress: know the platform and have examples of some of your work.
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task multiple projects on any given day.
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and platform-specific markup.
- Organized, excellent communicator with an eye for detail.
- Self-driven and highly motivated to learn new tools and techniques.
Nice to have:
- Javascript/JQuery, PHP, database knowledge
- Marketing/Advertising agency experience
- Experience with email testing tools like Litmus or Email on Acid
- Familiarity with email rendering differences across browsers, email clients, and devices
- Graphic design experience including software knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
