Revenue River is looking for a Junior Front End developer to join our Interactive Services team. We’re looking for an ambitious, driven individual with a grasp of front end development languages & best practices. Our new hire will work in a web-based programming environment and be supported by a team of UX/UI design strategists, marketers, architects, and directors. They'll learn modern strategies for web development, and how to bring designs to life across a host of applications and viewing devices.

 

The prospective team member should understand how to work with deadlines, be driven to succeed, and be highly organized. You'll need a solid code base and a portfolio of work to be considered. We have the tools and environment to turn you into an expert developer in the latest technologies. Develop your skills at an accelerated pace on the cutting edge of customer experience. 

 

A prospective team member should have a strong understanding of who we are, and what agency life requires.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide deep quality assurance and usability testing for new websites
  • Support agency and client requests that require programming
  • Leverage CSS, PHP, and jQuery skills to modify existing code base
  • Make observations and recommendations for improved site performance
  • Contribute to the successful development of web and email templates
  • Support HubSpot and WordPress CMS platforms
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks with proper planning to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work within Teamwork Project Management software, Slack, and HubSpot
  • Be current with modern web trends and related technologies

 

Competencies you'll need to master:

  • Ability to strategically analyze each project to ensure assets are built to best practice 
  • Compliment a creative team and client goals by adding sound programming practices
  • Show proficient organization skills with CMS libraries to provide accessibility for current and future project execution
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript (jQuery), PHP
  • Working knowledge of Slack, Google Suite, MS Office, WordPress, HubSpot
  • Ability to grow into a larger role by mastering skill sets and demonstrating value

Qualifications & Work Experience:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant programming experience
  • Portfolio of coded web pages 
  • Adept at juggling multiple projects, working cross-functionally, and never losing sight of the core message and goal behind your work
