As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will help orchestrate all the tools and technologies it takes to create a world class development environment. As a DevOps engineer, you will help orchestrate all the tools and technologies it takes to create a world class development environment. We are looking for someone who loves the variety and complexity that comes with DevOps and is always looking for ways to optimize & automate existing processes to get the most out of every technology. Beyond the technical chops, we are looking for someone with a customer service mentality that isn’t flustered or bothered by daily interruptions. What you'll be doing:

• Support several IT systems which include but not limited to the infrastructure supporting our virtual server environment. 
• Work closely with IT, Product Development, QA, and Project Management teams to take operational responsibility for services in order to maintain and enhance existing processes and delivery environments. 

We are focused on finding a strong DevOps engineer with experience in SOME of the following areas (you will learn the rest):   

• Working knowledge of virtualized environments and containers.  
• Build tools like Jenkins with the ability to breakdown requirements and set-up CI and CD workflows using the GUI,  Jenkinsfile etc. 
   
• Linux/Unix Administration with the ability to code in Bash.
   
• Experience with GIT.
   
• Enjoy working in Agile environment, using code-review tools and project tools like Atlassian's Jira. 
• Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an "always-up, always-available" environment. 
• Understanding of networking concepts in a Linux based environment. 

Skills and Experience we’d like you to have: 

• x+ years of IT experience with a focus on CI/CD technologies. 
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree. 
   
• A passion for the development and deployment of high-quality services with correctness and robustness. 
• Ability to multi-task and to prioritize rapidly changing task assignments. 
• Candidates should have prior experience working in a large, fast-paced, enterprise environment working with multi-disciplinary teams. 

 Technologies we use or you might have experience with: Salt, Vagrant, Git, Github, Nagios, ELK, Apache, Nginx, Bash, Python, Docker, Jenkins

Work Status: We are happy to consider anyone who is legally able to work in the US including candidates on an active H1B and TN visa. We are also open to sponsoring a TN visa for our friends up north.
