About Valyant AI: 

Valyant AI has developed an artificial intelligence platform that can automate customer service for multiple industries, including restaurants, hospitality, healthcare, financial services and more. We are currently in the process of beta testing our order-taking AI with several major restaurants and expect to scale rapidly through the second half of 2020 and 2021.

Here’s what you’ll need: 

• 1+ years of software development experience
• Experience or desire to work on distributed complex systems
• A solid understanding and experience with the Node.js platform, its tooling, and JavaScript. We use TypeScript so some experience with types is nice, but not required
• Ability to work in an existing codebase and collaborate with a diverse team
• Ability to debug and work through issues with team members
• A passion for technology, learning, and problem solving

Here’s what you’ll do: 

• Implement AI technologies at scale working with senior engineers and other teams
• Help design and implement technical specifications with product management and senior engineers
• Work with a local and distributed/remote team
• Investigate and fix bugs found by end users of the system
• Support the development team with daily code contributions
