We are looking for an energetic hardware test engineer, with some exposure in unified communication or internet media streaming hardware.  This position involves testing hardware and revising Zoom certification specifications in designated market segments to deliver best user experience of Zoom software and services. 

 

The other part of the role is as a partnership manager nurturing few emerging Zoom hardware categories to explore market potential. This unique combination of responsibilities is a perfect platform for a dynamic individual to see both hardware and cloud sides of the business.

Responsibility

  • Revise the hardware certification specification and life cycle management

  • Test VoIP or streaming hardware with Zoom app and service

  • Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities in emerging markets, develops strategic direction, identifies key hardware players in the value chain.

  • Build trusting and long-lasting relationships with hardware partners in multiple levels. Serve as the primary point of contact to partners.

  • Collaborating with internal and partner’s marketing and sales enablement on value proposition in GTM (Go To Market) and NPI (New Product Introductions) plan

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of device interoperability experience in unified communications and internet streaming segments.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to manage ambiguity, solve complex problems and scale effectively across a large organization.

  • Some technical background is required, Engineering or CS degree a plus

  • Must be detail oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, and self-motivated

  • Understanding of SaaS and service provider business models a plus

  • Familiarity with Tableau, Jira, Asana a plus

 

You are comfortable being hands-on and shifting between the tactical and strategic actions with effective executive and team communication skills and techniques
