What Will You Do?
You will support the continuing development and expansion of our flagship product, Documoto ™, an all-in-one authoring tool, web document repository, and storefront solution for equipment manufacturers and their customers. You’ll design and code interfaces that provide exceptional user experience and incorporate functional elements related to electronic publishing, storefront and search.
You will work within a state-of-the-art infrastructure that includes the following technology stack: HTML5, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, MySQL, Solr, Linux, and AWS. You’ll work as part of a collaborative group in an Agile development environment.
What Makes You a Great Fit?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Solid understanding of web application architecture, Single-Page Application architecture, object-oriented software, and design patterns
- 5+ years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and responsive design
- 3+ years of experience developing client-side web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, i.e. Vue (preferred), React, Angular, or Ember
- 3+ years using RESTful APIs to build data-driven web applications
- Working knowledge of relational databases, i.e. MySQL, Oracle, or equivalent
- Work experience developing on Linux/Unix or Mac environments using shell scripts
- Experience with unit testing, code reviews and continuous integration
- Experience with GIT
- Exposure to Agile/SCRUM methodologies
- Experience with any of the following is a big plus:
- Understanding of SVG files and other vector-based image formats
- Mobile application development
- User Experience design
- Kotlin, Java, or other JVM languages
- AWS
- Adobe Flex
