At the center of what we do is our platform engineering team, which builds the backend systems that enable our customers to turn their inspiration into action. In this role, you will be directly working with both our Java-based microservices and Content Management System (CMS) platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with cross-functional team members in UX, Product, Front End, and DevOps

• Building and maintaining Java RESTful APIs and/or customizing our Content Management System which supports new and existing features

• Deploy microservices within an infrastructure leveraging AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, SQS/SNS)

• Forecast approximate launch dates and communicate changes as they arise

• Quickly acquire deep subject matter expertise and broad understanding of the business and architecture

Basic Qualifications
3+ years full-time Java development
Eligibility Requirements

• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice as needed
• Must be willing to work in Denver, CO
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

• Proven ability to work with cross-­functional teams to successfully complete projects
• Understanding of RESTful, microservice based architecture and Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Proven ability using Java, PostgreSQL and reactive programming
• Experience with the HashiCorp stack (Vagrant, Packer, Terraform)
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices within our shared repository on a regular basis
• Prior experience with a variety of software development approaches (including Agile)
• Prior full stack engineering experience
• Passion for continuous personal learning and development and helping us create a platform for our customers to experience “I did it!” moments
