Java Platform API Engineer
We are looking for a Java API Engineer to join our Platform Team!
About the Role:
Zoom app ecosystem aims to enable end-to-end and rich online experiences for business users and prosumers on Zoom platform. You will be among the Zoom platform engineering team responsible for designing, building, optimizing and deploying core services for the Zoom app ecosystem. In addition, you will have a unique opportunity to not only immerse in a full software development life cycle, but also build an exciting eco-system with our valued customers together.
Responsibilities:
Define, design and develop RESTful API endpoints for third-party developers to easily extend Zoom core product portfolio
Leverage existing infrastructure to build a scalable solution for tiered customer support
Drive test automation framework to optimize API service performance
Work closely with cross-functional teams to craft easy-to-use integration experiences
Triage critical customer issues and provide technical guidance for customer engagement
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Qualifications:
BS (CS or related major preferred)
5+ years of experience in delivering RESTful APIs
Strong programming experience in Java with Spring Boot
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies (Microservices, Architecture, AWS , NoSQL)
Familiar with other leading app marketplace or e-commerce platforms
Willing to learn, be proactive, and think creatively
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
Colorado Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$150,400.00 USD
Maximum :
$240,000.00 USD
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus and equity value. We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
