Position: IT Generalist

The Job Description:

We are looking for an IT Generalist who is motivated by multiple challenges in a global environment.  MySQL databases, Amazon AWS, Office 365, PHP custom websites, ERP and e-commerce are all in use. 

You must be focused, able to work in a high paced environment and independently. Most importantly you must be willing to drive change for the sake of continually improving efficiency and the customer experience. 

Requirements + Responsibilities – A Few of the Specifics, Certainly Not All.

• Interface with users in many geographic areas to solve customer requests
• Administer Office 365 accounts and provide training and support
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases using SQL / Excel / XML
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Create and maintain documentation
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations 
• Cooperate with developers to streamline operational requests

• Familiarity with MySQL, Amazon AWS, Office 365 - Excel and Outlook, Mac and iPhone, Linux and Windows Server
• Ideal candidate will have some familiarity or desire to learn PHP, HTML/CSS, and Laravel for self-service apps
• Strong problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse applications and environments 

• The position requires constant communication with colleagues in many geographical areas
