This position will primarily perform all aspects of personnel security (PERSEC) clearance processing for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and collateral programs, but will provide program and industrial security support to other areas of the company as needed.

• Maintain various daily logs for a variety of administrative functions associated with PERSEC
• Process employees for personal clearances via the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)
• Should have practical experience in processing personnel via eNOM and significant experience processing personnel via APICS
• Assist in maintaining personnel security files for all personnel of the supported element
• Build and Maintain tracking spreadsheets/databases for customer PERSEC activities
• Follow and enforce customer policies and procedures
• Develop and/or maintain PERSEC Standard Operating Procedures
• Provide support for the security awareness and education programs
• Perform miscellaneous security functions as directed by the FSO, CPSO, CSSO or other Security Manager
• Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities with appropriate government personnel to achieve appropriate clearance actions
• Review and process clearance and SCI access requests for accuracy and access eligibility
• Receive and/or Transmit classified visit requests as necessary to meet customer needs
• Provide industrial security support on an as needed basis

Basic Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance
• Must be familiar and have relevant experience with SCI access processing with various IC Customers and the adjudicative guidelines set forth in ICD 704

Desired Qualifications

• Prefer individual who is currently in SCI access and has a current (within 5-years) SSBI
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
• Must have the ability to identify areas of improvement within the PERSEC department and take action to improve PERSEC processes and procedures
• Should have excellent communication skills
