Head of Operations Engineering and Network Security at Zayo

The Head of Operations Engineering and Network Security will support the Head of Global Network Operations in strategy and will be responsible for directing the operational activities of the network teams, and for maintaining oversight of Zayo’s network security policies. This role will work in collaboration with the Global CNCC, Operations Engineering, Network Security, Network Activations, and Logistics teams.
Has full leadership responsibility of the Operations Engineering and Network Security function and may shape Zayo strategy
Oversees processes related to engineering capacity, resource contention, impact of demand on capacity, and financial and skills planning
Directs reporting and analyses on the efficacy of network engineering operational processes
Solves for operational inefficiencies and leads communication of process changes to relevant network teams
Collaborates with development teams on process planning and tracking tools to manage resources and tasks
Owns network security policies including setting policies and protocols for handling potential security threats, responding to viruses or system bugs, and implementing security hardware and software
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of work experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Base salary range: $130,988 - $137,619
Full-time Zayo employees are also eligible for discretionary quarterly short-term and long-term incentive cash bonuses which are based on the performance of the Company, an employee’s business segment, and the individual employee
