Work-Life Balance... but actually.

We're experimenting with 4-day work weeks in Q4. Monday - Thursday, 9-5.

We have a creative space in downtown Boulder where the team meets up 3 day per week. Everyone works from home on Mondays.

Extended remote working trips are an option after 90 days in the role.

We're a tight-knit team: we all go out to lunch somewhere on Pearl every Wednesday. Monthly, we do team events and wellness events. Annually, we do a company retreat, and we also give back to the community through an annual volunteer day.

What are you looking for?

We're hiring a lead fullstack engineer to lead a small team while building a green field product for our 11,000+ very active users.

You'll have autonomy and ownership, while making large strategic decisions with the guidance and support of our director of engineering and senior product manager.

Our avid customer base (+56 NPS) is anxiously awaiting our product expansion into becoming the operating system for marketing agencies. You will be a key driver behind this initiative, defining and building the MVP of one of our two new products (CRM + Invoicing).

Am I a good fit?

Are you passionate about working with other driven engineers to build and deliver mission-critical business capabilities for thousands of small businesses?

Do you enjoy a collaborative and open work culture?

Can you find the balance between driving long-term business outcomes with showing near term progress for customers?

Do you enjoy the challenge of building a new product from scratch to support Cloud Campaign's growth through Series B and to a future IPO?

If you answered yes to these questions, this role will keep you engaged and challenged with significant room for growth.

So, what will I be doing?

  • Work with a small team of engineers to ideate, architect, and build an entirely new product
  • Maintain a tight relationship with our Senior Product Manager as well as cross-functional teams to solicit customer feedback and fine-tune our implementation
  • Release an MVP of the new product (CRM) to our existing customer base, driving traction for a successful Series B raise in 18 months
  • Make technology and architecture decisions to set the company up for success for years to come

Tech stack?

  • Java backend (Microservice architecture using Spring Boot)
  • React.js frontend
  • Hosted in AWS (leveraging Dynamo, RDS, Lambda, EC2, Load Balancers, and other AWS services)

Why Cloud Campaign over, say... Google?

  1. Culture
  2. Ownership and impact
  3. Equity

We know that every company says they have a great culture, but we're confident that once you get an opportunity to meet the team, you'll see what makes Cloud Campaigners different.

Cloud Campaign is a 25-person startup — you'll be working directly with our Director of Engineering and have total ownership over the design and implementation of a new product.

You'll have the gratification of knowing that you are the key driver behind the company's success and expansion into a product suite.

Earn a sizable equity stake in a fast growing startup. To date, our company valuation has more than tripled with every venture round that we've raised. You can expect your equity value to more than 40x by the time we take the company public.

We're also keen on promoting from within and see this role as a natural transition into a director role as the new product gains traction and the team grows.

Am I qualified?

To be qualified for this role, you have:

  • 5+ years of fullstack engineering experience
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and familiarity with aspect-oriented programming
  • Experience with both backend and frontend technologies (tech stack = Java + React)
  • End-to-end implementation experience
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Logical/Perceptive, problem-solving, detail-oriented, solution-oriented
  • Flexibility/Adaptability/Dealing with Ambiguity
  • Desire to lead a small team of engineers

What do y'all stand for?

Our mission is to help marketing agencies scale.

Our vision is to democratize starting, running, and growing a marketing agency.

Core values that we live by:

  • Balance over Burnout
  • Default to Transparency
  • Maintain a Learner's Mindset
  • Provide an Amazing Experience

Compensation

Base pay: $115k - $165k

Equity: .05% - .25%

Alright, I'm in — what are next steps?
