The Opportunity: 

Mersive Technologies is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to help us build and scale our platform for managing and performing real-time data and analytics at our devices at some of the world’s biggest companies.

A successful candidate has experience working across full stack web technologies, both front end and back end. We need someone who is an expert in modern Javascript and front-end frameworks, such as React or Angular, and working with RESTful or GraphQL APIs or even building his/her own. Our top candidates will have great stories to tell about leveraging new technologies in creative ways to build experiences that customers love.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work with our Product team (PM, UX Design) iteratively to create amazing interactive experiences
• Implement proof-of-concept interfaces and demos for user testing efforts
• Ensure the long-term quality of the code you develop through unit and functional testing
• Drive architecture and design forward
• Mentor junior developers
• Research new technologies, APIs, and tools for improving developer and customer experiences

Required Qualifications/Experience

• 4-6 years as a full stack engineer
• Expertise in SQL, especially PostgreSQL
• 1 + years developing React for production application or Angular 2+, Vue, etc.
• Demonstrated experience designing and integrating with APIs
• Experience with front and back-end testing frameworks
• Expertise in the following: ES6+ Javascript, React, Node, REST APIs, OAuth
• Well versed in finding and fixing performance issues in on the front and back end
• Open to multiple tech stacks and programming paradigms

Desired Qualifications/Experience

• TypeScript
• Java, Rust, and/or Python
• GraphQL (e.g., Apollo or Hasura)
• Real time data and analytics
• Microservices, containers, and DevOps tools
