Hi there! We’re CampMinder, and we’re looking for full-stack software engineers to join our Boulder-based team. We build meaningful solutions for summer camps that make it easier for camp operators to create great experiences. As a software engineer, you’ll leverage your existing skill set while diving into new technologies to create scalable applications that impact more than 500,000 kids each summer. Another thing you should know about working here is that we pair-program a lot of the time. We believe pair programming creates opportunities to cross-train and leads to better designs and higher quality software.

We have an older legacy / monolithic stack and a year-old microservices / containers / mobile stack. In addition, we have just started building a brand new front-end, web-based stack, which will communicate with the microservices back-end. Right now, our efforts are focused on expanding the new stack platforms and transforming the old one. Our technologies include: .NET/C# (legacy), and Go, React Native, TypeScript, Kubernetes, Docker, and RabbitMQ (new). 

What We're Looking For:

Required:

• Minimum 3 years experience developing web applications
• Experience creating and maintaining complex, large-scale software products
• Experience with RESTful API development
• A strong understanding of architectural principles
• Experience with relational database design and development

• Desire to share your expertise and best practices with others
• A passion for solving complex problems and maintaining high quality standards
• You like to learn and use the right tool for each job (i.e. you’re not tied to a professional identity as a “[some technology] developer.” You identify as a “software engineer” or a “technologist”.

We’re especially interested in candidates who also bring any of the following skills/experience: 

• React JS front-end web development
• React Native mobile development (for both IOS and Android release)
• Golang experience
• Microservices design and development
• Distributed systems design and development
• Event-based/asynchronous communication, message brokers, messaging
• Containerization/container orchestration using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform, especially as it relates to SDLC and CI/CD
• Automated testing, continuous integration and delivery tools
