NHT is seeking a Full-stack React / Python engineer who wants to solve interesting, meaningful problems with an intelligent, hard-working team! This position will require creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills to help execute on our migration plan – we're migrating incrementally from an existing AngularJS frontend to React, and we’re completely rewriting our existing C#/.NET API as Python microservices.

Candidates should have a strong expertise in building Python APIs, experience with modern frontend development frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc), experience with relational and document-oriented DBs, an interest in learning new technologies and methodologies, and prior technical experience building web apps.

- work with the UI team, Director of Engineering, and CTO

- troubleshoot + debug development + production API issues stemming from observed UI bugs

- implement ad-hoc changes and features on the API without needing to cross between teams

- ensure that changes made to the API propagate to UI components without any errors
