We’re looking for an innovative team player with proven front-end development expertise including HTML5, SCSS, JavaScript and common JavaScript frameworks. On a daily basis you’ll be creating user experiences, modeling database schema, building scalable microservices and enhancing our development and delivery process through new tools. You’ll be based in our office in lower downtown Denver, within walking distance to Coors Field, Union Station, and the 16th Street Mall.

Responsibilities

• Create new user experiences in Vue.js, React or AngularJS
• Develop integrations to enhance the user experience
• Model database schema in MySQL
• Design associated object models in Java
• Build easy-to-use, scalable microservices
• Enhance our development and delivery process through new tools
• Work with QA to enhance product quality through automation
• Analyze and fix bugs and other issues

Candidate Profile

For success in this role you will have:

• 3+ years’ experience as a Frontend or Full-Stack Engineer
• Proven front-end development expertise including HTML5, SCSS, JavaScript and common JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular or React
• Proven experience in RESTful API or microservices design and development
• Proficiency in automated testing, writing unit tests and working knowledge of continuous integration environments
• Strong software development experience with proficiency in an object-oriented language of your choice, preferably Java or Scala
• Strong foundation in data structures, design patterns, OOP/OOD and architecture principles
• Demonstrated knowledge of MySQL or another RDBMS including schema design, querying, etc.
• Experience with distributed source control and collaboration tools (Git, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence)
• Superb attention to the details that delight users
• Proven experience with multiple product iterations and releases
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong teamwork and collaborative skills
• The ability to work nimbly across multiple projects, with fast-paced, iterative development cycles
• A passion for giving and receiving feedback in a team environment
• Written and verbal communication skills
