Apto is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Denver. We are looking for someone that can work across front-end and back-end solutions and is inspired by new development.
What you’ll be doing:
We are seeking an experienced engineer that can advise and execute. Specifically, we are looking for someone with strong front-end Javascript/Typescript, experience in one or more front-end frameworks (Ionic 2, Angular 2+, React, etc), and working knowledge of server-side JS technologies (Node.js, Koa, Express, etc).
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Collaborating closely with small, cross-functional teams of designers, developers and product managers to build new features and applications
- Full-stack development using a primarily javascript stack - Node.js, Koa, Postgres, with Angular 2+, Ionic 2, and SASS on the front-end.
- Working with cloud hosting technologies such as Heroku, Amazon Web Services, Rackspace Cloud, or Google Cloud
- Optimizing and scaling systems, databases, and processes.
- Designing and extending existing APIs as needed to implement new functionality or improve data transfer between applications.
- Continuously search out new ideas and technologies to learn and share with your team members; help develop junior team members
- Encouraging and improving upon what works well, while cutting what isn’t
- Staying up to date on the latest development practices and strategies that make it possible to create amazing applications
What you need to apply:
- Strong development skills for creating fast, engaging applications for desktop and mobile
- Desire to work in a startup environment with changing targets and deadlines
- Experience in developing integrations using REST APIs or similar technologies
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and write working code on a daily basis
- Ability to work on enterprise applications and deliver scalable solutions that meet and exceed customer goals
