Bluprint is seeking an Internal Services Software Engineer to work on the internal tooling and 3rd party integrations that drive our company by building technologies from the ground up! We're delivering our next generation of customer experience to millions of raving fans and we want you to be a part of it.
Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain and deploy internal tooling and 3rd party integrations using our RESTful, microservice based architecture
  • Build internal tools, scripts and integrations with (HTML, CSS, React, JS, Java and/or Python) to create a secure and efficient tooling.
  • Work with AWS (EC2, RDS, SQS/SNS, Lambda)
  • Utilize the HashiCorp stack (Vagrant, Packer, Terraform)
  • Work cross-functionally to create scalable, fast, and efficient applications that will drive our company forward.
  • Tackle initiatives with cross-functional team members (UX, Product, Front End, DevOps)
  • Forecast approximate launch dates and communicate changes as they arise
  • Quickly acquire deep subject matter expertise and broad understanding of the business and architecture

Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years full-time Java development
• 2+ Years of HTML/SASS or LESS/JS development experience
• Experience using source control systems like Git/Github

• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice as needed
• Must be willing to work in Denver, CO
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

• Proven ability to work with Product and cross-­functional teams to successfully complete projects
• Familiarity and experience with a variety of software development approaches (Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.)
• Understanding of the concepts of distributed system design, REST-based service boundaries or message-based architectures
• Appreciation of functional programming concepts (especially immutability, idempotence, and side-effects)
• Experience developing with AWS infrastructure and deployment (RDS, EC2)
• Experience with microservices architectures
• Experience with both unit and functional testing systems
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Agile delivery principles & supporting processes
• A willingness to adopt new technologies and explore new ways to solve problems.
