The talented Full Stack Developer will tackle some of the biggest code and feature challenges to transform StickerGiant’s e-commerce site.  You’ll join a Technology team focused on driving innovation and making sure our customers (inside and out) are happy!  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• DEVELOPMENT (50%)

  • Contribute daily to new features & critical fixes

  • SQL- & API-based data access

• TEAM LEADERSHIP (20%)

  • Manage a remote development team

  • Provide technical leadership on process (code reviews, build pipeline, test integration)

  • Represent the team to internal stakeholders

• SYSTEM ADMIN (15%)

  • Maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, config, monitoring, logging)

  • Manage integrated SaaS applications

  • Build pipeline

• ARCHITECTURE (15%)

  • Collaborate on the design of the next generation of our e-commerce presence

  • Coordinate extensive integrations with internal & external systems

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related degree required

• 5 years experience in application development

• Experience managing a small technical team (co-located or remote)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

• Strong coding skills in web-centric programming languages like JavaScript, PHP, Node

• Familiar with frontend frameworks like AngularJS, JQuery

• Data access & integration via SQL and API

• CSS

• Demonstrated practice of Agile methods in a team setting

• Experience working with and leading remote teams

• Integration with a variety of SaaS providers (think Slack, ZenDesk, Salesforce)

• GitHub

• Experience with a leading CMS like Drupal, WordPress, Magento

• SSL Certificates

• Web server administration
