Position Summary

Salary: $65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience

We’re looking for a Front-End Web Developer who will take an active role on our team. Our developer must have back-end knowledge as well as working with front-end tools such as Wordpress themes. You’ll be working alongside the brand and marketing team including designers and copywriters collaborating on building a multitude of sites for a variety of clients and product lines as well as other various components and projects such as landing pages, email templates, web forms, web application management and more.

This individual will report to the Brand Director and will work closely with the brand and marketing team and all sides of the organization. This position is based in our office in Lakewood, CO. Candidates need to be able to consistently work from this location. Relocation assistance is not available.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Develop new web pages for a multitude of businesses and brands;

2. Ensure new web and product launches have been thoroughly tested and adhere to internal processes;

3. Enhance existing functionality across a variety of web-based projects including B2B and B2C websites;

4. Ensure websites and applications are maintained for security, updates, stability, backups, performance, secondary database management, and web presence integrity;

5. Collaborate with the rest of the brand and marketing team to design and launch new features;

6. Maintain websites and web application integrity for clean and optimized code;

7. Manage web hosting servers, including; updates, testing, quality assurance, and maintenance;

8. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment;

• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection;

• Proficient with HTML/CSS, PHP, Javascript, jQuery, WordPress and Bootstrap in addition to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere;

• Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements;

• Development experience for both mobile and desktop;

• Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications;

• Ability to work with ambiguity

• Able to manage hosted sites, domains, certificates and data assets; and

• Working knowledge of best practices working with top hosting company providers;

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in front-end and back-end development role within the relevant industry

• 5 years of successful work experience in a professional environment

• Bachelor degree or equivalent on-the-job experience is preferred.

• Ability to pass a required background check
