We are currently looking for a Sr Front End Engineer to join our Denver, CO or Jersey City, NJ based team.As Sr Front End Engineer you will play an integral role in supporting PointsBet's continued growth and success.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• 5+ year of JavaScript development experience
• 3+ years of React experience
• Deep understanding and experience with TypeScript
• Proficient understanding of event-sourced architectures
• Proficient understanding of webpack configuration and extension
• Proficient understanding of XML, JSON and interacting with APIs
• Proficient understanding of front-end task managers, such as Grunt, Gulp
• Experience building apps with React Native
• Demonstrable experience of performance profiling and optimisation
• Strong UX and design sensibilities
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for technology and building excellent products
• High level of creativity and attention to detail
• Experience mentoring other developers is a plus

SKILLS WE SEEK

• Architectural design and planning sessions with Front End Practice Lead
• Training and mentoring other front-end engineers
• Work closely product teams to build new features and enhancements.
• Adhere to best practices in terms of code quality, test and development practices.
• Translating UI/UX design to code and produce visual elements of the platform
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimise UI for maximum speed and scalability
