Job Description
We are looking to a hire a full-time Full Stack Software Developer. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with the ability to work independently with partial supervision. We are looking for someone excited to build and maintain interactive web applications, data dashboards, and related software development projects.
As a member of our development team, you will:
- Develop interactive web applications utilizing Vue, Django, and Google Cloud services
- Collaborate with backend developers, our stats team, and existing clients
- Review source code and test features in a production-like staging environment
- Explore and learn new frontier technologies and implement into existing projects
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or one or more years of work experience
- Strong familiarity with one or more frontend web frameworks (Vue, React, Angular) and build tools (Webpack)
- Familiarity with code review and source control (GitHub)
- Understanding of web security and best practices
- Submission of a portfolio, example website or application, or GitHub profile
- Experience with web services, including building and using REST APIs
- Experience with cloud services (virtual machines, SQL servers, CDNs)
- Familiarity with a backend framework (Django, Flask, Laravel, Express.js, etc.)
- Familiarity with lifecycle management of products in a production environment
