The role

Outrider's Vehicle Connectivity team is looking for a passionate front-end developer who wants to do exceptional work building performant web applications using modern Javascript frameworks. You'll be working in a team of back-end & embedded engineers building a scalable, reliable and secure SaaS platform for autonomous vehicle fleets. This job represents a unique opportunity at the intersection of sustainable transportation and cutting-edge web technology.

This position plays an essential role in helping deliver a safety-critical system for industrial automation -- it offers a very talented software engineer the chance to help develop a market-defining enterprise product that combines autonomous vehicle technology with a software-as-a-service (SaaS) business model.

The ideal candidate will embrace our goal to drive zero-emission, self-driving vehicle adoption, and help us realize our potential to define, build, and lead a new, category of robotic automation for the enterprise.

About you

You are an eager learner, as well as thoughtful and kind. You have a track record of building highly performant & secure cloud applications. You have a bias toward action when you are stuck but are not afraid to ask for help when you need to. You have deep knowledge of React or Vue. JavaScript is your second language and you have worked with Node.js, TypeScript and Python.

Your location isn’t as important as your fit with the role. That said, our preference is that you're located at our headquarters in beautiful Golden, Colorado. If you must work remotely, we require that your hours overlap with ours (US Mountain Time).
