Finance Systems Administrator
Wowza is looking for a full-time Finance Systems Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for the strategy, planning, deployment and operational management of the information systems, policies, and procedures that support the product, subscription, billing and revenue recognition processes in Zuora (billing system) and RevPro (revenue recognition system), as well as other financial systems, including General Ledger. You will evaluate the current architecture of financial process within Wowza and how it interacts with other systems like salesforce. Upon evaluation you will re-envision to a more efficient and effective process through small adjustments or a complete overhaul of the architecture. Reporting to the head of finance, you will be the finance system owner and work crossfunctionally on integration with our engineering and business operations teams.
Responsibilities
Project manage new system implemenations and upgrades, including general ledger
Architect financial processes to ensure accurate data
Responsible for data feeds across all financial systems
Understand interplay between Zuora / RevPro and trouble shoot issues
Identify issues and risks of any changes or new implementations and find ways to mitigate those risks through their financial system expertise and the relationships across the organization
Knowledge of best practices for master data management across multiple systems
Ownership of the product catalog and knowledge of the inner-workings of each type of charge and how best to utilize them to meet Wowza’s business requirements
Create and manage revenue recognition rules, journal runs and end of month reports
Manage development deployments from development environments to production
Assist users and stakeholders with trouble shooting, analytics and report design and management
Participate in the integration testing and data validation process with other enterprise systems, such as Salesforce
Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users
Create and maintain documentation of the system and business processes
Develop new user training guide and train new users
Keep abreast of new features and functionality across all financial systems, providing recommendations for process improvements
Requirements
5+ years project management experience
5+ years of experience with Zuora recurring billing software
7+ years' experience implementing and supporting Enterprise Revenue Applications and financial systems
Bachelor's degree required; university-level accounting courses including a minimum of Accounting I and II is preferred
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in support of business administration processes
Experience with prevention and management of fraud, including chargebacks
Knowledge of best practices around financial system support processes or other equivalent sophisticated billing systems across a larger organization, including billing process optimization, automation of manual processes and following best practices
Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently
Possess proven ability to multi-task various duties and assignments while maintaining quality work
Superior communication skills including the ability to communicate and discuss complex billing or system issues with non-technical staff
Ability to build relationships, influence key decision-makers, and collaborate on a cross-functional team comprised of diverse personalities, skill sets, and levels of experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of our salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of our total compensation package for employees.
