AMP is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join us in transforming an industry. Your key responsibilities will be to develop, automate and conduct validation test procedures and methodologies on AMP’s products that result in products of the highest quality order. This key role requires a deep familiarity with complex software and hardware development, and an understanding of technology platforms like cloud based systems. This role is integral to the successful growth and scalability of AMP.
As our Quality Assurance Manager, you will work to:
- Define the standards and processes that deliver exceptional quality in our products and tools
- Define and formalize validation test procedures & processes for hardware and software products and develop/improve tools to execute tests and evaluate results
- Facilitate and enhance the use of automation, execution of regression tests, and prioritization of bug tracking, fixing and retesting. Manage the creation, review and execution of test cases.
- Document, investigate, and analyze defects or problems, tracking status of defects, and verifying resolution during the testing life cycle.
- Works closely with stakeholders to understand the product and user environments of the solutions they are creating and establish the development and testing strategies for the product and system.
- Assist in engaging, implementing overseeing any agency certifications
- Generate validation reports, analyze test data, create analytical models, and present results to the cross functional team
- Develop relationships with external testing facilities to augment internal testing capabilities and ensure project requirements are being met
- Author and review validation project documentation as appropriate, such as Risk Assessments, Validation Plans, User Requirements, and Functional Requirements
- Continuously look for ways to improve the safety, performance and customer satisfaction with AMP products
Your background and experience will likely include:
- Bachelor's in Engineering (Software, Computer, Electrical, etc.), Computer Science or related field, preferably software and hardware focused
- Minimum 5 years in systems validation / QA/ equipment validation
- Experience with validating and qualifying various software and IT systems
- Experience in developing full validation lifecycle documentation and testing protocols with thorough knowledge of risk management concepts;
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging electronics and complex electro-mechanical products
- Experience with software debugging tools, test automation, data acquisition methods and best practices
- Highly motivated, well organized, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred:
- Capable of managing multiple highly complex activities in parallel. Can balance priorities as program demands evolve
- Flexible/Versatile/adaptable to changing needs
- Ability to work independently, be customer focused and being a team player
- Work with contractors and vendors hired to support validation and development activities.
