DAT is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to join our Analytics Product Development Team in Denver CO. In this role, you will be managing two teams of software engineers. Working with these teams you will help deliver new analytics solutions that help our customers understand the dynamics of the complex US truck load freight markets. These solutions are some of the most critical new products for the DAT roadmap and will be at the heart of user's interaction with DAT data.
Your responsibilities in this role will include coaching and mentoring software engineers in a full stack development environment, partnering with business and product counterparts to understand the customers' needs, and mentoring teams in creating technical solutions to complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a knack for problem solving and understanding technically complex systems and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
The Skills You'll Need

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least three of those managing direct reports.
• Proven ability to partner with a product organization to deliver reliable and scalable SaaS solutions.
• Experience working in an agile software development environment.
• A track record of building a culture that encourages autonomy, innovation, and teamwork.
• Knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• An ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Bonus Skills

• Hands on web development experience using the MEAN stack.
• Experience coaching teams through an agile transformation.
• Knowledge of, and hands on experience with, OKRs as an objective setting format
• Demonstrated ability to partner with a Data Science organization to take models and solutions from the prototype stage to production grade software

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $140,000.00 + benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
