Finder is THRILLED to be launching our Denver tech hub! We've got an exciting app launch in the pipeline, and we're in the process of building a dream team of technical talent to execute our vision. That's where you come in.
Working closely with the Finder Product and Engineering leadership teams, you are the people-leader responsible for the flawless execution and delivery of new technology, components, capabilities, and products built by your team to grow Finder’s fintech strategy. Additionally, you will be accountable for the working health, wellbeing, and happiness of the colleagues on your team.

- The proposed salary for Colorado residents is $140,000 - $180,000, negotiable depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- People leadership; managing the happiness, performance, and growth of the people in your team.
- Regular reviews, coaching, and mentorship to develop your team.
- Position/Job/Role Description clarification, candidate selection, interviewing and hiring.
- Ensuring team delivery and results, evolving processes, and guiding the team towards autonomy and high performance.
- Work with Engineering Leaders to drive strategic goals to improve technical direction.
- Embody, demonstrate, and reinforce Finder company values.
- Quality and timely execution of deliverables in coordination with other teams.
- Identifying, championing, and improving processes and workflows at Finder.
- Championing software engineering principles to deliver a better experience for our users, and an engaging technology-led engineering environment.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to create solutions.
- Ability to manage risk, escalate where appropriate, and deliver options and improvements to other people leaders at Finder.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Demonstrable leadership with a cross-disciplinary delivery team including Software Engineers, Product Managers and Designers.
- 10+ years experience in software engineering.
- 2+ years leadership/people management.
- Prior experience working from an MVP through to launch and Scale.
- Able to grow a team that works across the stack to deliver an outcome– including working with Node.JS, MongoDB, GraphQL, React, React Native.
- Expertise in Agile development methodologies.
- Excellence in architectural design; including SOA, Microservice architectures, messaging, and event processing.
- Developed people via goal setting, career plans, and/or creating an environment of continuous improvement.
- Continuous integration, deployment, and delivery practices.
- Great communication, and a genuine desire to help the team work better together with a healthy dose of fun.
Nice to have
- Experience working with team members and stakeholders in different time zones.
- Demonstrable security, regulation, compliance, and auditing expertise.
- DevOps and networking experience; including monitoring, alerting, and support.
- App design.
- Crypto-currency passion and/or experience.
- Security concepts and certification experience including SOC-2, PCI, or ISO27001.
