Duties/Responsibilities:
- Gathers client requirements, evaluates options, and selects and implements technologies that best suit the client’s needs.
- Performs security, performance, and availability assessments.
- Designs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains computer systems.
- Deploys, manages, and maintains secure, scalable network systems using technology from a variety of vendors.
- Learns (and shares) new skills through independent research, formal training, and industry events.
- Automates tasks through the use of DevOps tools
Job Qualifications:
- A four-year degree, preferably in computer science or a related field
- Two to five years of hands-on system administration or system engineering experience
- Technical certifications such as CISSP, MCITP, RHCT, etc. are considered a plus
- Interest in learning new skills and keeping pace with changing technologies
- Ability to problem solve and work with others to find the best solution
- Precision in your work and attention to all details
- On-point, genuine interpersonal and written communication skills
- Capability to work independently and self-motivate
