Summary

Look Listen is seeking an Email Developer with a passion for digital marketing and a keen eye for detail. Our ideal candidate is someone experienced in developing pixel-perfect, responsive HTML emails.

Communication skills are essential for this role, as well as adherence to tight timelines, and assiduous attention to detail. The candidate will work directly with our Client Success team, and sometimes with clients directly to develop campaigns. This may also include performing analytics on current campaigns to steer discussions towards future improvements. The candidate will also be in close communication with the Creative team to advise on the feasibility of email designs, and be well-versed in email design best practices.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, able to work with little to no supervision either in person at our Denver office or remotely.

Salary $55-65k, plus great benefits and office perks

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Develop HTML code that takes into account the nuances of the major email clients in the market

Implement accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.0 AA) in code

Scope the level of effort for custom email development and testing/deployment

Coordinate with the creative team on email best practices, vet the feasibility of designs, and be able to provide alternative solutions

Document specific instructions for campaign setup when necessary

Thoroughly test email code with industry-standard tools, such as Email on Acid or Litmus

Be well attuned to new changes and developments within the industry

Required Skills & Qualifications

3 - 5 years email development experience (agency preferred)

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge of responsive email development techniques

Understanding of email development best practices

Efficient HTML/CSS email development

Cross-platform email testing and debugging

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with the Adobe Suite or other graphics tools to extract and optimize image assets

Knowledge of version control (GIT)
