What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform research on non-intrusive audio quality assessment

• Devise novel audio quality assessment method

• Contribute research that can be applied to Zoom product development

Basic Requirements

• At least 18 years old, currently enrolled in a four year academic institution pursuing a Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or a related STEM field 

• Coding experience preferably in C/C++, Matlab or Python

• Solid knowledge of algorithms, DSP, statistic, random process

• Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

• Familiar with audio front-end processing such as AEC,AGC,NS

• Previous experience with audio quality evaluation method and existing objective quality metric such as ITU-T P.862 or ITU-T P.863
