Overview:
Alteryx is looking for a talented, creative and experienced individual who can understand and articulate the value of the Alteryx Enterprise Analytic platform to help establish a sales focused Value Engineering function. In this role, you will work closely with the strategic and enterprise sales groups on the largest and most complex deals to identify high value use-cases, quantify business value and produce board ready materials to justify customer investments in the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with sales, customers and prospects to:
- Identify relevant and high value analytics use-cases based on interviews with line-of-business leaders
- Build business cases & ROI models to quantify value and expected returns from investing in the Alteryx enterprise analytics platform
- Create and deliver executive level presentations to key client stakeholders
- Provide thought leadership and expertise on business value throughout the process to help accelerate the sales cycle
- Work with a small and talented group of strategy and sales leaders to build a value engineering playbook and scale this capability globally
- Coach sales team on key enterprise value levers and how to incorporate such concepts into their messaging
- Expected travel: 20-30%
Qualifications:
- Hands-on professional experience in value engineering, pre-sales value consulting, and/or management consulting. MBA preferred.
- Strong executive presence, storytelling and workshop facilitation skills
- Solid quantitative modeling and business case creation skills that balance thoughtful analysis with timely responsiveness
- Leadership skills and ability to influence the executive team and their direct reports cross-functionally
- Ability to build compelling executive ready decks
- High energy, self-starter who can deal with ambiguity and is comfortable owning and executing initiatives
- Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Domain understanding of the Analytics, Data Science and Enterprise SaaS space
