The successful candidate will:

• Define and drive strategic direction of tech road map with designated tech teams collaborating with other technical leads where appropriate

• Communicate clearly and passionately about technology solutions with business stakeholders and product/technology partners

• Manages, coaches, and inspires a team of senior resources and cross-functional resources

• Mentor developers in their engineering practices and managers in leadership practices

• Lead multiple engineering teams to design, build, deploy and support internal project management web application with a global focus

• Have a strong understanding of software/system development with proven experience managing DevOps-driven software teams

• Grow and manage development engineers that are responsible for developing and maintaining internal software

• Be responsible for mentoring and developing engineers

• Develop and improve the processes needed to successfully balance requirements from multiple requestors and product owners

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent

• 2+ years of experience as a systems/software engineer working on challenging software projects

• 4+ years of experience building and leading successful software/systems development teams in agile environments

• Knowledge of min. one object-oriented language (e.g., Java, Python or C#) as well as practical experience with Service Oriented Architectures

• Experience with SalesForce and NodeJS Microservices run in Docker on Heroku/AWS

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experienced in agile and waterfall project management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• People management, career management and mentoring experience of handling multiple groups of 5+ skilled resources

• Project management experience with agile development methodology

• Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project

• Understanding of DevOps philosophy and its practical execution

• In-depth experience with Oracle or related technologies

• Autonomous problem solver with an optimistic disposition

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Patience and politeness

• Advanced degree in Computer science, Mathematics, or equivalent

• Base Salary Range- $118,400- $157,900
