The Director of Customer Lifecycle Engineering will be responsible for the development of software systems that touch every aspect of SendGrid customer experience, from sign-up and onboarding, to package management and billing.  This team uses extensive Machine Learning to keep bad actors off our systems, and ensure our trusted reputation in the communications space. We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader who will continue to streamline all aspects of the customer lifecycle, so the customer experience with SendGrid is as smooth and seamless as possible.  This is a critical role for us, and will accelerate our revenue growth as we continue to build new applications and partnerships that expand into adjacent market spaces. The successful candidate will need tremendous technical depth and managerial chops to support our broad customer base, rapid growth rate, and the scale at which we’re currently operating.  Our software is highly distributed, and built on cutting edge technology. This is a full stack position, and a balance between frontend and backend technology leadership experience will be critical.

  • Act as an effective agent of change; providing different perspectives and outside of the box thinking
  • Keep the team connected across locations and multiple strategic initiatives.  We are a fast growing company and inclusive communication is critical to maintain alignment and our culture
