Director of Engineering
Choozle is looking for a key leader for the Engineering team to help us scale the team as we liberate marketers from complex advertising technology. Our ideal candidate must be someone who adds to our cultural values of Growth, Service, Attitude, Ownership, and Balance. Distributed responsibility is at the core of our Engineering principles, where every team member is autonomous and expected to be both mentee and mentor.
We look for a true engineering leader, who understands how to lead great teams to build amazing products. This person will embody the notion of service leadership and understands how to be an active facilitator to get the best out of a mixed team of diverse skill sets. They will be responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of the team overall. They will be a communicator that can negotiate amongst client facing, product, development, operational and executive teams.
This position will report directly to the CTO and is a critical person to Choozle’s success.

WHAT YOULL DO
- Optimizing the product development teams for speed and quality
- Help to be a facilitator of various technical viewpoints and negotiate to the best outcomes
- Work to set Agile milestones with all team members, then ensure timely delivery
- Attract and retain the best talent
- Directly manage a budget for the employee team
- Work with outside vendors to successfully deliver projects and augmented capacity as needed
