In this role, we are looking for a talented individual to lead multiple application engineering teams including people management, code, and architecture reviews for the company's products. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will work closely with our Director of QA, VP of Infrastructure, Product Managers, and other critical team members. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a team of Developers and Engineers within an innovative, fast-growing company.

Responsibilities:

• Engineering leadership responsibilities including people management, code and architecture reviews, software development process improvements, and cross-team communication
• Manage the code creation process and engineering team to ensure we are hitting software release dates & company goals
• Manage onsite and offsite technical teams and establish best practices for all aspects of software development with an emphasis on team management, software deployment, scalability, and security.

Requirements:

• 7-10+ years in the following areas:
  • Software Development
  • Strong Management skills
  • Mentoring and Technical Guidance
  • Database Technology experience
  • Ruby on Rails/Java/Scala Technology Stacks
  • Javascript, HTML/CSS  
  • Front-end frameworks such as Angular
  • SaaS experience
• Experience building and integrating with third party APIs
• Interest in using cutting-edge technologies and modern languages to find new answers to old problems
• Passion for shipping quality code
• Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing, exciting work environment
• BA/BS in computer science, computer engineering or related technical field
