Position Overview:

As our Director of Business Development & Strategy, you will work on high-priority growth strategy initiatives for Arturo. You will support our Executive Leadership team in opening up new markets, geographies and launching new products. This is a unique opportunity to help lay the strategic and analytical foundation for growth. In this role, you are expected to shape and conduct analyses of market datasets, translate your findings into actionable insights for the organization, and present those to the Executive Leadership team and cross-functional partners throughout the company. You will lead the conversion of strategy into action. You are results-oriented, self-directed, inquisitive, and entrepreneurial-minded.

What you will do:

  • Drive analysis of assigned projects and initiatives, including developing work plans
  • Execute structured, hypothesis-driven problem solving
  • Build both financial and operational models to drive towards answers
  • Work effectively with qualitative and quantitative data to form strategic insights
  • Convey findings in a cohesive story, including summarizing insights from analysis; identifying next steps; developing implementation plans
  • Develops strategies and long-term plans by applying service, product and customer technology knowledge, estimation and forecasting knowledge, business, financial and industry knowledge
  • Leads or supports large strategic cross-functional initiatives within the organization, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures
  • Independently drive special projects and new initiatives within Arturo, from initial concept through execution and success measurement
  • Could lead project teams to drive growth initiatives during evaluation and build-out, as well as incorporating new products, service offerings, geographies, and acquisitions.

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 8 years' strategy consulting experience at a consulting firm or equivalent in an internal consulting role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in driving insights using statistics or data analysis
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and aptitude, with significant experience framing up analyses independently
  • Deep knowledge of Excel required, and experience with SQL strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience gathering data from various sources and driving strategic insight
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of management
  • An eye for the detail

Nice to haves:

  • Insurtech (Property & Casualty) or other related property tech experience
  • Experience within a SaaS environment preferred
