We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing and dynamic team.    The DevOps engineer will be involved in all aspects of DevOps and SecOps practices within the company utilizing the latest technologies and trends in the industry. Establishing automation techniques and guidelines in working with the development, QA and Product teams  within AWS environment, and tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, ECS, KMS, MSK, Terraform and others. Having a security background is a big plus in SOC and PCI compliance. 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide infrastructure guidance  and best practices for highly scalable and fault tolerant solutions

• Configure and maintain resources on AWS

• Maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or Ansible

• Maintain Dockerfiles

• Deploy services 

• Responsible for production deployments using Jenkins

• Manage security and access controls

• Use ticket management system such as Jira and Confluence to manage work priorities

• Work closely with developers on the team to troubleshoot issues

• Apply networking knowledge to debug upstream issues

• Ability to clearly articulate and communicate complex technical ideas to non-DevOps colleagues

• Ability to understand project requirements and be innovative in finding solutions in highly regulated environments

Education/Experience/Knowledge:

• Minimum of 7+ years experience in devops field

• Background in system administration and networking

• Knowledge of technological trends and developments in the area of information security and risk management including knowledge of security, risk and control frameworks, such as PCI and SOC

• High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters with an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.

• Understanding of cloud, SaaS, and IoT architectures and their implications to information security & data privacy strategies.

• High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work both collaboratively and with little supervision.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal and collaborative skills; and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.

We offer a competitive benefits and compensation package. Base salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000.  You are eligible for benefits on your first day of employment, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability, HSA, FSA, 401(k), plus many perks related to health and wellness provided by our medical carriers and a discretionary time off program.
