The Data Intelligence Team is the hub for data engineering that drives business decisions and company strategy across all parts of MAXAR. The team builds automated solutions that manipulate disparate data sets into actionable insights for service owners, product teams, and company leadership. We are looking for skilled DevOps teammates with experience with Cloud-based ETL, databases, system design and implementation. Responsibilities:

• Contribute creative ideas to solutions for the team's AWS-based infrastructure, DevOps processes, and other security and governance aspects
• Research, evaluate, design, develop, implement, and improve state-of-the-art Cloud infrastructure in collaboration with a team of software developers, system engineers, DBAs, IT and network personnel
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively
• Ensure sound DevOps processes are in place for the team
• Participate on Agile methodology team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science, math, engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 1 year experience with AWS Services and AWS Account management
• Minimum of 1 year experience design and implementation of Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns
• Minimum of 1 year experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, Git, Puppet, Chef, Maven, Ant, Ivy, UrbanCode, Docker, or comparable tools
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery and release of software
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an Agile delivery environment

Preferred Qualifications

• DevOps leadership experience
• Advanced AWS Account and Services management, security, and governance
• The use of public/private Cloud and Virtualization technologies
• Defining and managing the roadmap for implementation of DevOps in an established operation
• Working within a structured environment, including the use of structured methods and approaches and modern development tools
• Service support – the use of DevOps, Continuous Delivery and ITIL concepts to lead an effective support operation
