Cloud Elements is a cloud application developer and integrator based in Denver, CO. Our customers are leading SaaS providers such as Hubspot, Zendesk and Kissmetrics and we've partnered with Salesforce, Box, Marketo, Google and others. We're hoping you will help us grow that list!

What you will be doing:

• Serve as Ops Engineer, supporting our public cloud deployments

• Serve as part of an on-call rotation to resolve platform issues

• Continued automation of the Cloud Elements product/platform deployment and operational management

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify business goals, technical requirements, and implement solutions to maximize automation and efficiency

• Work with our Customer Success team to ensure customers have an amazing experience

• Identify areas of improvement in operations, solutions, sales, and customer success, and work with Product Management to address such issues

• Serve as a core contributor to the open source community with enhancements of open source tools and operational automation built at Cloud Elements

Who we are looking for:

• You have 2+ years of professional experience leveraging public IaaS solutions, with an emphasis on AWS

• You have 3+ years of professional experience in systems and operations

• You have 3+ years of professional experience with Linux and strong familiarity with the Linux kernel

• You have 3+ years of professional experience with scripting (e.g. can create a solid, composable script at the drop of a hat)

• You have 1+ years experience developing code professionally in any one of the following programming languages - Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Go

• You have public GitHub/GitLab/BitBucket/etc profile with dozens of commits/PRs

• You have strong security and networking skills

• You have experience with containerization (e.g. LXC, LXD, Docker) and at least one container orchestration system (e.g. Kubernetes)

• You have experience with at least one infrastructure management tool (e.g. Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, etc.)

• You have experience with at least one configuration management tool, preferably Ansible.

• You have a test-driven, infrastructure-as-code, and automation mindset

• You have git and developer tooling experience

• You have strong verbal and written communication skills
